Welcome to the wallpapers section, here you can find numerous high quality images and desktop backgrounds from the Frutiger Aero / Metro aesthetic. Many of them are stock photos from the "Sozaijiten / Material Dictionary" series by Japanese company Image Navi Corporation, and the Korean website Asadal, but there are also many other ones. Windows Vista

A large collection of official wallpapers, and some full-res account pictures of the Windows Vista operating system, released in 2006 to manufacturing and generally available in 2007. It is the first one to feature the Windows Aero design language. Most of the wallpapers designed to accompany the system originate from stock photos from Getty Images, and a few others by Corbis, Microsoft employees, amateur photographer Hamad Darwish and one from professional freelancer Michael Haber. Longhorn / Vista Beta

Longhorn is the codename used for Windows Vista during its development. The development process was infamously chaotic, starting in 2001 and completely reset in 2004. Down below are wallpapers used for some of the builds. Learn more about them here.
